Gerry  truly was a unique individual - his raison d'être, was, quite simply, motor racing and cars. As a family we are immensely proud of him and his many achievements - sometimes through adversity - but always with infectious enthusiasm and flamboyant style.

The void that he has left in the lives of those he left behind is insurmountable. However, we are all very lucky that we have such wonderful - not to mention some outrageous - memories of him!  We are mindful of the fact that this website shouldn't be over sentimental, but one of entertainment.  However, that said there are bound to be certain parts of the site that do hit a sentimental nerve but also the funny bone too!! 

Gerry certainly wasn't a saint; however he was kind, generous to a fault, brave and had a razor sharp wit to boot.  His sense of fun knew no bounds especially when it came to playing practical jokes on people.  He had an enclyopaedic memory for facts, figures, cars, races and was often an unofficial adviser and confidant to those in the motor sport world.  His knowledge was second to none. He will never be forgotten.
